Born and raised in Collingwood, Ontario, Zachary developed a love for building and creating from a young age, always wanting to learn how things work, eager to take on hands-on projects, and makings things himself. Following high school he began making outdoor wooden furniture and selling his pieces at local markets and stores.
This passion of building eventually led him to study Carpentry Techniques at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, where he learned trade-specific skills for the construction and renovation sector and graduated at the top of his class.
Shortly after graduating, he began working as a certified spray foam installer with Ontario’s largest insulation company and quickly established himself as top sprayer, known for both his exceptional production and quality, and often specifically requested by contractors. He was able to relocate to Morrisburg, Ontario as he started his family and continued working in the insulation industry in Ottawa.
After over a decade of hands-on experience, Zachary decided to apply his expertise to starting his own insulation company, Frantzen & Family Insulation, where he is strongly committed to ensuring homes and businesses are insulated efficiently and with care.
